Why Custom Shrink Sleeve Labels
Decoration that follows every curve
A shrink sleeve is printed flat, seamed into a tube, slipped over the container, then passed through a heat tunnel where it contracts onto the shape. Because the film conforms, you get unbroken artwork around compound curves, necks, and waists — geometry that a pressure-sensitive label simply cannot follow without wrinkling.
The practical wins are coverage and compliance. You get the entire container surface as print area, top to bottom, with no label seam gap. Add a perforated neck band in the same operation and tamper evidence comes free. The trade-off is tooling and film choice: shrink rate must be matched to the container geometry, so the first order carries a real engineering step.
