Why Custom Euro Tote Bags
Built to be kept, not binned
A Euro tote differs from a standard shopping bag in three places: the handles are threaded through metal or fibre eyelets rather than glued under the rim, the top edge carries a stiffening card, and the board is laminated art paper rather than kraft. Together those make a bag customers reuse — which is exactly the point, because a reused bag is repeated brand exposure.
The trade-off is cost and lead time. Euro totes are partly hand-finished (handles are knotted by hand), so unit cost sits well above a glued kraft bag and production runs 12-18 days. For flagship stores, gifting, and premium e-commerce that maths works; for a high-volume grocery bag it does not.
